Perfect location, close to the center, restaurants and the promenade. If you choose the right room you get an amazing view over the bay. Rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast is fresh and tasty. You can park you car at the property, which also makes it much easier.

"Blissful experience"
I celebra my room has its colonial charm! I love the French doors that open up to the garden. I was able to have a nice quiet time and do what I enjoy most, which is reading. My room was spacious, and the living room was a plus. Natasha was very accommodating and responsive. She provided me with the utensils that I needed to enjoy my night. I hope that the staff will maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the hotel, especially the sofas and curtains. I intend to recommend this place to my international friends who visit me often. Also, I love breakfast and have been to many hotels, but this one has a great variety. I also appreciate the option to order additional items like omelettes. It's just a 5 to 10 minute walk to the waterfront, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The sitting area across the road offers an amazing view. I also love the heated swimming pool! I had a great time! Thank you, La Fountaine and staff!

Our family enjoyed our fist stay in Hermanus with La Fontaine. The service we received from Natasha and the staff was first class. Natasha is the best host we have had of any of our holiday stays. Our son enjoys the complimentary fruit, suckers and cookies.
