Ein feines historisches Anwesen besticht durch seine Eleganz und ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail neu ausgestattet. Der südafrikanische Flair weht durch dieses Haus. Dieses Haus macht den Aufenthalt in Hermanus zu etwas Besonderem. Die gesamte Anlage wird derzeit mit viel Aufwand fein neu gestaltet. Vom gut gedeckten Frühstückstisch lassen sich die Wale in der Bucht beobachten. Auch für Bergwanderer ist Hermanus ein Geheimtipp!

"Pleasant"
Nähe zur Ortsmitte gut fußläufig. Der Blick aufs Meer vom Balkon aus ist atemberaubend. Zimmer durch die Dachschräge sehr eng und klein wirkend. Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen das Ganze. Nicht verkommen sondern einfach nur alt und etwas nostalgisch, aber gepflegt.

"Angenehme Unterkunft an guter Lage"
Sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand und in Gehweite zum Stadtzentrum. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und individuell eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde jeweils liebevoll zubereitet und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

"A memorable start to our South African holiday"
The breakfast was excellent and all the staff very friendly. The bed was very good with a firm mattress which would suit most people . We were given a topper to soften the mattress a bit as i have some arthritis. It was only ten minutes walk to Gearings point and the restaurants nearby. We were given very good advice about boat trips and restaurants by the management. The cliff top walking is fabulous and just across the road from La Fontaine. The car park at the back of La Fontaine was being used by workmen to saw wood to renovate the house next door so we had little quiet time in the small garden at the back which we could access straight from our room Fortunately I believe this work is now complete.

"Great location . Fabulous guesthouse and host"
The location was very central for restaurants/shops etc with fantastic views of the ocean where we spotted whales in the bay. The host was sooo welcoming. Attention to detail was exceptional, spotlessly clean and great touches like fruit bowl and honesty bar.

"Charming B&B and surpurb for whale watching"
Charming B&B and surpurb location for whale watching. It is located in 19 century dutch style house with lovely and very homey interior. Rooms are well set up and provide all amenities. The location is stunning - just acoss the road from the ocean and beautiful bay. We were there in whale season and enjoyed watching them from the terrace. Natasha (B&B manager) is very welcoming and helpful with any needs Breakfasts are nice but a little bit limittd to our taste. A really top notch place to be for truely homey feeling and whale watching. Check-in time untill 5 p.m only.
