"An oasis."
This hotel is possibly one of the nicest I have stayed at in my life. Natasha was faultlessly welcoming and generous with information, support and suggestions. The information booklet she offers on arrival for places to go is the most helpful I've ever come across. The breakfast was luxurious and fresh, the space to eat overlooking the water, and the details in the room from linen and toiletries to the tea and coffee set up was so thoughtful. I only wish I could have stayed longer but even one night was also worth it in that gorgeous room, with the perfect view over the water... with all the little extras thought of, and nothing you don't need. Nothing was difficult to arrange - Natasha even helped me with towels (and the courage!) to manage the quick, refreshing (icy) dip in the pool I was craving after checking out while I waited for my pick up to the next destination. Nothing.

The guest house was perfect and amazing. It is small, private and very cozy. We felt like home😍 The design in a colonial style is perfect, we loved it! The breakfast with the sea view was amazing. I was so sad that we stayed only for 1 night here. Our 2 couple friends recommended this place and we are happy we booked it! We will definitely come back. Thank you! Nothing

"Spent only one night here, but we’ve already book-marked La Fontaine in our calendar for our next, longer visit."
Hermanus is a popular destination, and one is spoiled for options. But La Fontaine offers that extra little something that makes it perfect - central location, large, luxurious rooms, exceptional views, and friendly staff. Nothing. It’s comfortable, clean as a whistle, and they serve an awesome breakfast.

"Sehr empfehlenswertes Gästehaus"
Sehr gute Lage: Direkt am Meer, nur wenige Gehminuten zum Zentrum, aber dennoch ruhig. Die Aussicht von unserem Zimmer aufs Meer war traumhaft schön. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, das Bett war riesig und sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wurde auf der Terrasse serviert (ebenfalls mit Blick auf das Meer). Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
