A fabulous guest house, superb location so close to the centre of Hermanus. Stunning views. A lovely sitting room where we could have a drink and a chat in the evening, and try to spot whales during the day. Arlene helped organise a surprise for our children and couldn't have been more helpful. Lots of additional little touches. Lovely setting for breakfast overlooking the sea. Delicious breakfast with fresh pastries and lots of choice. I'm just sorry that we only had one night there. Will stay longer next time! Would happily recommend La Fontaine, and look forward to staying there again in the future!

Fantastic stay at this lovely cosy B&B, Natasha made us at home, went out of her way to help us with all our needs and even booked Whale watching and made a table reservation for us. I loved the views from the breakfast table, over a gorgeous breakfast! The bed was super comfy, the complimentary Port and snacks were a real treat. The location was fantastic with short walk into town, and lovely walks along the beach front. I loved my stay and wish I could have stayed longer! Well done La Fontaine for a brilliant service!

We arrived at La Fontaine Guest House to no water or electricity after torrential rains had wiped out the power lines in Hermanus, Natasha was beyond helpful in letting us know that if we chose to she could get us accommodation in a near by hotel that had a generator and therefore power. We chose to see our room first which honestly was beyond wonderful, so decided to stay. We were in room 5 (not sea facing) which has its own courtyard for outside entertaining as well as its own separate sitting room. The bed is enormous and comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe space should you care to unpack. The ensuite has a bath and large walk in shower, twin basins and obviously a toilet and once the power was back on the water was delightfully hot. Breakfast (included) was delicious. Natasha and La Fontaine were both wonderfully accommodating.

I recently stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast with stunning sea views. The three words that come to mind when I think of this place are location, location, and location. The decor is tasteful and Natasha, the host, made me feel right at home. She welcomed me warmly and I loved everything about my room. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the sea and I even joked that I didn't need to go anywhere else - I could have spent the entire time on the balcony. The room was also very clean and comfortable, with power points conveniently located. Natasha helped me find the parking lot and gave me great advice on where to go for drinks and dinner. The breakfast was lovely and had everything I needed, and the staff were also very friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and it ticked all the boxes for me. There is nothing I didn't like. The only regret I have is that I booked 1 day instead of the entire weekend, if not longer.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé l'accueil de notre hôtesse. Elle était disponible pour répondre à nos questions, nous aider à trouver un restaurant et même le réserver pour nous ! Nous avons eu la possibilité de garer notre voiture dans l'enceinte de l'établissement comme nous le souhaitions. Le petit plus : l'excellent petit déjeuner face à la mer ! Il ne manquait plus que les baleines ;-).
